Kid Friendly Mental Wellness conversations while practicing positive outlets toward self care! 

Art therapy explores feelings, reconciles emotional conflicts, fosters self - awareness, manages behavior and addictions, develops social skills, reduces stress and anxiety as well as helps to increase self - esteem. Ultimately providing a positive outlet for emotional self - awareness and helps to provide a personal sense of well-being.

The school year is vastly approaching and summer is winding down! Our little ones could be feeling stressed and anxiety ridden with the new school year on the horizon. What can we do about that? Let them practice a positive outlet to combat those feelings and to learn about positive self care practices! 

Your childs ticket includes: 

- 4 inch Terracotta Pot to paint

- 4 inch Terracotta Water Dish to paint

- Paints

- Brushes

- Plant of Choice

- Bag of Dirt

What they need to bring?

- Their own creativeness! 

We DO NOT instruct on what each child is going to paint on their planters. There are increased mental health benefits when getting creative on your own! When getting creative, you're pulling from the left hemisphere of your brain. In turn, increasing your serotonin levels and decreasing any type of stress, depression, anxiety, along with numerous other mental health ailments, that we all may fall victim to. We will most definitely assist each child with proper painting technique and we will help them create their masterpiece. If they have an idea of what they want to paint, we will make sure to help them but ultimately let them do most of the work! Once your child paints their pot (the paint dries pretty quick) we will seal their planter and then assist them on planting whichever plant they choose!
