About the event

Join us for a Paint & Plant Wellness class at Shorewood-Troy Public Library. We will dive into Mental Health Education, listen to personal stories on how RejuveNate started, what our mission is and why we are on this journey of Mental Health Awareness. We will de-stress, relax and zen out while we participate in hands on creativity, which supports your very own mental health. Grab your pal and come on out to enjoy a fun night with friends all while supporting your mental health and mental health awareness! 

Your ticket includes:

- A 2 inch Terracotta Pot to Paint;

- A Water Dish to Paint;

- An Indoor Houseplant to plant in your masterpiece;

- Paints and Brushes to paint your work of art;

- Bag of dirt to plant your choice of air purifying plant.

** Please be aware, this is NOT an instructed Paint Class! Our Paint & Plant Wellness classes are hosted to provide individuals Mental Health breaks and relief. We want you to get creative and partake in art to benefit your mind and soul. Our goal is to empower individuals to create their own work of art, to pull creativity from the right hemisphere of their brain to combat mental health ailments. Not only does getting creative stimulate your imagination, helping you to be more observant, enhances problem solving skills, helps to boost self-esteem, provides a sense of self worth and accomplishment and reduces stress but it also has numerous other mental health benefits and we want you and your brain to reap everything that it has to offer! Either come prepared with an idea of what you want to create on your own planter or ask us for some tips and tricks! We will help you get started but we will NOT provide step by step instruction! **
