Calathea Makoyana - Peacock Prayer Plant
The Peacock Prayer Plant, a favorite for its vibrant, patterned leaves and dynamic daily movement. Broad, oval leaves with translucent light green to creamy backgrounds and bold, feather-like dark green markings resembling a peacock’s tail feathers. The underside of each leaf is a rich purplish-maroon, adding dramatic contrast. Like other Prayer Plants, its leaves raise and fold in response to day and night cycles (nyctinasty), giving it a “living” quality.
🌞 Care Requirements:
Light: Bright, indirect light is best. Tolerates moderate light but avoid direct sunlight, which can bleach the leaves.
Water: Keep soil consistently moist, not soggy. Use filtered, distilled, or rainwater to prevent leaf tip burn.
Humidity: High humidity (60% or more) is essential to prevent leaf curling or browning. Use a humidifier or pebble tray in dry environments.
Temperature: Prefers warmth between 65–80°F (18–27°C). Protect from drafts and cold temperatures.
Soil: Loose, well-draining, peat-based potting mix with perlite or orchid bark for aeration.
Toxicity: Non-toxic to pets and humans — safe for homes with cats, dogs, or kids.

If product is damaged upon arrival, through the United States Postal Service, RejuveNate - Plants & Wellness will honor a complete refund or a brand new planter upon customers request.
We take every precaution, as always, to protect your order. However, we are not responsible for USPS delays or damages caused by weather or shipping. Please be aware of the weather in your area when your order is due to arrive, and plan accordingly. If plant is damaged upon arrival, through the United States Postal Service, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate any circumstance.
Note: Proof of damaged planter or plant needs to be provided to RejuveNate - Plants & Wellness within 24 hours of receiving the product, in order for us to fully honor your request.
RejuveNate does not accept "stacking" of coupons, punch cards, sales, promos or rewards. Please note: Punch cards will still be punched at each checkout. If a customer has multiple rewards (i.e. punch card, coupon, sale, promo) only one reward can be used per transaction.
