Cryptanthus 'Earth Star'
Bring bold color and striking texture to your plant collection with the Cryptanthus, commonly known as the Earth Star. This small yet stunning terrestrial bromeliad features low-growing, star-shaped rosettes with wavy, often serrated leaves in shades of pink, red, bronze, green, or striped variegations — each variety more dazzling than the last.
Unlike many bromeliads, Cryptanthus grows in soil and stays compact, making it perfect for terrariums, desktops, or small-space arrangements. Its dramatic shape and color-packed foliage make it an instant standout in any collection.
🌱 Care Highlights:
Light: Bright, indirect light enhances leaf color. Some varieties tolerate lower light but may lose vibrancy.
Water: Keep soil lightly moist but not soggy. Allow 50% of the soil to dry before watering again.
Humidity: Prefers moderate to high humidity; excellent for kitchens, bathrooms, or terrariums.
Temperature: Best kept in 65–80°F. Avoid cold drafts or temperatures below 55°F.
Soil: Well-draining, airy potting mix.
Growth Habit: Rosette-forming, usually stays under 6–12 inches (15–30 cm) wide.
Flowers: Small, starry flowers appear briefly from the center rosette, often followed by "pups" (offsets) for easy propagation.
Toxicity: Generally considered non-toxic to pets.

Please be aware of the weather in your area when your order is due to arrive, and plan accordingly. If plant is damaged upon arrival, through the United States Postal Service, please reach out to us and we will do our best to accommodate any circumstance.
Note: Proof of damaged planter or plant needs to be provided to RejuveNate - Plants & Wellness within 24 hours of receiving the product, in order for us to fully honor your request.
