Dracanea Fragrans - Corn Plant
Native to tropical Africa, the Dracanea Fragrans is an evergreen, slow growing perenial shrub. A classic houseplant which started to be grown in Europe in the 1800's. It's grossy green foliage that resembles corn leaves grow on top of a thick cane, which is why the plant is sometimes called "false palm tree".
Dracaneas represent abundance and feminine energy. Dracaneas are the perfect plant for the Boss Woman! Like many houseplants she is a wonderful air-purifier and grown indoors or outdoors she will reduce lead levels in particular!
