Service Description

We offer kid classes for all ages! We love to get messy! We'll have a kid friendly mental health talk about reflecting on our feelings and ways we can combat stress and anxiety, how we can combat feelings of restlessness and how to calm our bodies during those times! Open to ages 2 years - 12 years. Art Therapy explores feelings, reconciles emotional conflicts, fosters self-awareness, manages behavior and addictions, develops social skills, reduces stress and anxiety and helps to increase self-esteem. Ultimately providing a positive outlet for emotional self-awareness and helps to provide a personal sense of wellbeing. Nature therapy is a natural (and free) stress relief. Interacting with plants, getting your hands in dirt, and exposure to natural settings all help improve the human perceptions of emotional, psychological, and social benefits. Plants are a symbol of life and can influence those around them. Painting and taking care of plants lends an outlet for keeping the hands and minds busy. Increased access to green space reduces psychological distress, depression symptoms, clinical anxiety and mood disorders. We provide Paint & Plant events as a positive outlet to combat any type of Mental Health ailments we may be suffering from. Join us for a Paint & Plant Class to boost your Mental Health!
